Artist - each of us is called to be one

Why leave art to artists? It is up to each one of you to become a poet, a painter, a musician in your life. And don’t ask yourself whether you will be recognized as an artist by those around you, or by the public. You yourself will know, will feel, that your work is right there inside you –you will not be able to doubt it. You will say, ‘But if these creations remain inside me, no one will benefit from them.’ To begin with, you will in effect be an unknown artist, the author of unknown masterpieces. But in the invisible world there are other creatures, a whole angelic public, who will come to look and listen. It is this angelic public you must attract first. So, for the moment, just concern yourself with doing your work well and continuing to do it. This is a law: nothing we manage to achieve inwardly remains without effect, especially on ourselves. If we succeed in creating paradise within ourselves through our thoughts, our feelings and our desires, we will be the first to experience it. And then, little by little, all the beings that come to us will begin to sense magnificent constructions, a garden filled with trees, flowers and birds.
