Paying for everything you take from nature - Nature lays all its riches before us and we are entitled to help ourselves provided we give something in return

Nature lays all its riches before us and we are entitled to help ourselves provided we give something in return.* Ah, are you surprised that it is not free? It is free, but you too must give freely in exchange. How? When you decide to use all the faculties that God has given you to walk consciously along the path of light and sacrifice, you are engaged in divine service, and God remunerates you by giving you intelligence, goodness, beauty and so on. Well, it is with this ‘money’ that you can ‘pay’ for everything you take from nature. Those who are not employed in the service of heaven receive nothing, so they are destitute, with no ‘money’ to pay for what they take. They eat, drink, breathe, walk around and make deals, but sooner or later the creditors—the forces of nature—come to strip them of their possessions, because negligence, laziness, disrespect and ingratitude are not acceptable payment. So then the creditors collect their due from the very flesh and bones of their debtor: they take their life.
