Others’ failings - focus on the divine principle the dwells in each being

There is no merit in finding fault with others, it is all too easy. Besides everybody does just that. From now on, instead of focusing on the less glorious details, we need to concentrate on the divine principle that dwells in each being. Yes, why not nurture a sacred respect for that which is divine, immortal and eternal in humans? You would then be doing some positive work on yourself in addition to helping others. Whereas by focusing on their flaws, not only are you harming yourself by feeding on filth, but you are also hindering their advancement. So is there any wonder that you feel lonely? By continually criticizing others and emphasizing their failings, you are simply driving a wedge between them and yourself. When, by means of your soul and spirit, you learn to unite with all the souls and all the spirits on earth, when all that is best in you encounters all that is best in others, believe me, you will never feel lonely again.
