Freedom - placing oneself in service to the divine Principle

‘I want to live my life’, young people say when they begin to claim their independence. But have they considered whether they received life to be able to satisfy their desires, their selfish pleasures? Life is not in the service of humans. It is they who must become servants of life, of divine life; otherwise, they become servants of death. Of course, there is no law against wanting to escape from the not so enlightened guardianship of one’s family or environment. But they will only truly live the life everyone wishes to live by placing it at the service of the divine Principle within. Otherwise, the freedom, the independence they think they have gained by escaping the authority of others, is only more likely to enslave them. True freedom is found only in God, when humans connect to him and to all those visible and invisible created beings that are bearers of the pure life, in order to take part in their work.
