Light and darkness - two forces that nature uses for its work

The masculine attracts the feminine, and the feminine attracts the masculine. Positive attracts negative, and negative attracts positive. That is why all life is subject to the law of alternation – the law of opposites. In the morning, light chases away the darkness of the night, and in the evening, shadows take over again... Does this mean we can say that night is opposite to day, and day opposite to night? Yes and no. Yes, because light is the opposite of darkness, and no, because day and night work together to create and sustain life. Look around you. Before coming into the world, the child spends nine months hidden inside its mother’s womb. For seeds to germinate, they must stay below ground for some time. Bees line their hive with wax combs because they need darkness to make honey, and so on. Any number of tasks begin in the dark before coming out into the light. Light and darkness represent entities, currents and energies that nature uses for its work.*
