Riches, inner - make us generous

Because humans are used to expecting everything – beings or things – to come from the outside world, they have a constant need to receive and even to take, for when they do not receive what they expect, they try to obtain it by any other means, even the most illicit. That is the negative side of habitually expecting everything from the outside. Those who can feel they have everything within them consider themselves so rich they need to give others some of the treasures they can no longer contain. So learn to look for inner wealth. To begin with, you may not find a great deal, but gradually you will be dazzled by the abundance and beauty of what you are able to discover. Then your only thought will be to share it with others, and because of this constant need to give you will draw closer to the Divinity.
