Spirit - our spirit has unimaginable possibilities
When the human spirit first sprang from the bosom of the Eternal, its full potential was contained within it. It takes time for the immense possibilities of the spirit to manifest themselves within us, but our spirit does indeed have unimaginable possibilities. If you thought about this reality more often, it would be a tremendous help to your evolution. And, if you could only grasp the practical aspect of the fact that everything is present within you, you would be spared much sorrow and disappointment. You may be sad, for example, because your beloved is far away. But why not think that he or she is within you? If you do this, you will be happy and at peace. The trouble is that you expect everything to come to you from the outside. And you also have a spiritual Master; if he is physically absent, is that any reason to sit there and stagnate? Why not think that he is in you; that he talks to you, and helps and protects you? It is time that you adopted this new point of view. You will see that things go much better when you do.*
