Value of a being, The - is not measured by their successes

Those who decide to work for the good of all humanity must never ask themselves whether they will succeed or fail, for this question introduces doubt in them and curbs their enthusiasm. They must work, that is all. And history teaches us that we cannot pass judgment on people’s worth by taking their successes or failures as our only criterion. Those who have been successful are not necessarily the greatest, nor are those who failed any less noble. Each of God’s creatures comes to earth with a specific mission, and often those who are charged with the grandest missions are destined to fail, or at least appear to. But they have done the hardest part; they have prepared the ground for others who will succeed. So, those who succeed should not forget they owe their success to the efforts and sacrifices of those who came before them.
