Voice of silence - the expression of true life
Learn to listen to what the sages of the East call the ‘voice of silence’ speaking within you. Silence, true silence, has a voice, for it is not a void, it is not death. On the contrary, it is the expression of fulfilment and true life. The voice of silence is the voice of God. We can hear it speaking within us only when we have managed to quell all our inner agitation, all our inner revolt, fear and greed, because we then allow our higher nature, and our higher nature alone, to express itself.*
