Christianity defines the Holy Trinity as the mystery of one …

Christianity defines the Holy Trinity as the mystery of one God in three persons: the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. But we can easily shed light on this mystery if we have recourse to the sun. Look at it: the sun is this amazing creative power of life, which manifests through light and warmth, and those who are able to reflect deeply on these manifestations will discover the relationships that exist between the life, light and warmth of the sun and the three persons of the Holy Trinity. At all levels of creation, from the physical plane to the divine plane, we find these three principles: life, light and warmth. On the spiritual plane, life manifests as wisdom (light) and as love (warmth). These three principles – life, wisdom and love – are emanations of the divine Trinity (the Father, Son and Holy Spirit) and cannot be separated, just as the life, light and warmth of the sun are also inseparable. You see, it’s not so hard to shed light on the mystery of one God in three persons. What remains a mystery is the sheer immensity and splendour of this primordial essence, the origin of all that exists.
