You determine your future every day, every hour and even every second. Do you have a good thought, a good feeling? This sets you instantly on the path of light. But a few minutes later a selfish, unjust thought, or a feeling of jealousy about an incident or a person goes through you; your orientation changes, and you veer to the side of darkness. And even if on the physical plane, no change can be seen - as these thoughts and feelings do not have time to materialize - something has changed in the higher regions, in the direction you are taking. When a switchman activates a gear lever, the train changes tracks. Well, that is what a human being does every day, sometimes a hundred or a thousand times a day. Since everything is recorded, each of these changes is recorded also, but they do not produce anything permanent on the physical plane because they neutralize each other. Do you want to be permanently turned toward light? Then make sure your orientation remains unchanged and hold on to it without faltering.
