The sunrise – that splendid event that takes place before your very eyes – is worth going to see, even if it’s hard for you to get up early in the morning, even if you’re half asleep. You’ll say you won’t gain anything from it under these conditions. But you are mistaken: in spite of yourself and even though you are unaware of it, a work is going on, the results of which will appear much later, and you will be astounded. Someone who lived through scenes of violence and tragic events as a child wasn’t yet old enough to understand what was happening to them, but one day these dramas begin to resurface in the form of anxieties and behavioural difficulties that are very hard to cure. Everything, whether we understand it or not, is recorded and may come to the surface one day. That is why, even if you don’t ‘understand’ anything about the cosmic phenomenon of a sunrise, just give yourself the right conditions, and your spirit, soul and body will inevitably absorb certain elements, which will express themselves in you later on in the form of harmony, peace and light.
