Breathing is such a natural act, so spontaneous that few people really realize they are breathing. And yet, what benefits they could derive from breathing regularly and consciously! Benefits to their physical health, of course, but not only that. Breathing also affects the heart and mind and, even higher still, the soul and the spirit. For, as the Indian yogis have long taught, the functioning of our subtle bodies and spiritual centres, the chakras, also depends on our breathing. Breathing is a key. Those who try to breathe consciously, to harmonize themselves with cosmic rhythms, enter into communication with sublime entities, whose knowledge and powers they benefit from.
