Every living creature has its place in a certain realm of creation. The fish belongs in the sea, the mole belongs in the earth and the bird belongs in the air. And where does man belong? Man is the son of God, and his place is in the immensity of the universe. But for him to truly find his place, he must first of all know where his intellect and heart belong, for it is these which allow him to come into contact with this immensity. The intellect belongs in the realm of light, where it sees clearly. The heart belongs in the realm of heat, where it swells to embrace the entire world.
