In the Bible, God is presented as ‘faithful and true’. This means that all our efforts to do his will, to spread love and light among humans, are recorded and will one day be faithfully rewarded. When? This is difficult to know, but we need not be concerned about it. All we need to do is work and let heaven decide when, where and how we will be rewarded. We must put everything in the hands of heaven. In another passage in the Bible, God says: ‘Vengeance is mine.’ This means that we also have no right to take revenge for the harm done to us. This must be left to the Lord. It is he who knows which punishment should befall those who have transgressed the laws, and at what moment and in what way we will be compensated.
