We listen in wonder when some people speak: they express themselves with such intelligence, such clarity, such eloquence! But, in fact, it is not enough to understand things intellectually and to explain brilliantly what you have understood; your understanding must manifest in every realm of your existence. In this you can never be too exacting. It is by your acts, your gestures, and your attitude in every circumstance of life that you must testify to your understanding. Even if for the moment the intellectuals, the scholars, and the academics are in the top positions because they speak and write well, do not allow yourself to be so impressed. In the future this will change: the whole world will come and bow before those who have worked on the qualities of goodness, purity, integrity, and nobility, and who know how to integrate these virtues in their lives. Even if you know very little, when you become master of yourself, not only will you gain the approval of human beings, but the whole of nature will listen to you and appreciate you.
