Man plays a part in divine life through his higher Self. Because he participates in divine life, he also participates in the work of God. He cannot yet realize what results his activities will produce in the superior realms of his being, because he has not yet succeeded in building a conscious link with these realms; and it is this link that he must work on.
Man is inhabited by the divine Spirit and must become his servant, not to reinforce him as the Spirit is almighty, nor to instruct him as he is omniscient, nor to purify him as he is a flame. Man's only preoccupation must be to open up a path to his consciousness for the divine Spirit. It is then that he will fully participate in the work of God.
