Time and time again we see how differently people respond …

Time and time again we see how differently people respond to identical situations! When there is a traffic jam, how do motorists react? This one becomes annoyed, honks his horn and swears at his neighbours; that one glances at his newspaper or listens to the radio; another chats with his passenger or kisses her if she is his beloved. Finally, another decides he is going to take advantage of this momentary pause to go within himself, to make contact with heaven and send his love and his light to all beings on earth. This case is much rarer, of course, but it is the kind of adjustment you must make if you are to become master of every situation. Try it: where others become irritated, torment themselves and poison the lives of people around them, you, with the proper reasoning, can fortify and enrich yourself, and thanks to your experiences you can then help others.
