The only way to convince those around you of the value of this Teaching is by your example. You must be absolutely clear about this: you are not in the Universal White Brotherhood in order to learn how to advise others but to be of benefit to them by becoming a living example. The mission of our Brotherhood is to bring peace and light into the world, and if you want to be truly worthy of this Teaching, you must be able to go beyond self-interest for the sake of the collectivity. If you are capable of living in this spirit, the Brotherhood will be so powerful that, without having to say a word, we will bring the greatest blessings to all those around us. So, forget all your petty interests; forget other people’s failings; stop putting everyone to rights, and try to live together and show an example of altruism, patience and love.
