To be silent is, in a way, to create a void within …

To be silent is, in a way, to create a void within ourselves, and in this void, we receive plenitude. Yes, because in reality, there is no such thing as a void. If water is removed from a container, air slips in; if air is removed, ether takes its place and so on. Each time we try to create a void, one kind of matter is replaced by more subtle matter. Similarly, when we manage to dispel our inferior thoughts, feelings and desires, the light of the spirit bursts forth and at that moment, we have a clear vision of things, we know.
