Those who believe they have nothing better to do than to …

Those who believe they have nothing better to do than to arrange comfortable lives for themselves end up buried in matter. They accumulate responsibilities, commitments, and business contacts, which leave them no time to breathe, to reflect, or to meet with people and experiences which could nourish their soul and spirit. They think only of extending their territory, of having connections everywhere to ensure their well being, and in the end they are crushed. It is useless to go searching for them in the debris. They cannot be found; we no longer know where to find them. We call out to them, we reach out to save them, but they do not even hear. Obviously, they have 'succeeded', and many people will not only congratulate them, but will wish to be like them, buried and no longer able to breathe or see the sky. What would it take to help them understand life differently?
