The same, of course, happens when you take a dislike to someone: you avoid them and drive them away. And then one day you discover quite by chance that this person you have disliked all this time is in fact very honest, reliable and courageous, qualities which the person whom you liked so much does not possess, and that by failing to realize this early enough you have missed out on a relationship that could have brought you a great deal. So, be careful, and do not rely on your feelings of like and dislike too much. Let reason have its say, right from the very beginning.
