It is useless to long for great spiritual realizations if you have not yet managed to stop the loud and muddled course of your thoughts and feelings, for they prevent you from establishing within yourself the true silence, which mends, calms and harmonizes...When you have achieved this silence, you imperceptibly communicate a rhythm, a charm to everything you do. You move around, you touch objects; it is as if everything in you were only dance and music. This harmonious movement, which is transmitted to all the cells in your body, not only does you good, but also does good to all the persons around you: they feel lighter, released, enlightened, and they then feel the urge to make some efforts to rediscover these sensations they experienced in your presence.
