The conditions in which we live are never determinant. When …

The conditions in which we live are never determinant. When events affecting community life occur, for example, we can see that the same trials affect people differently. Why? Because they do not face them with the same state of mind. While some become more and more bitter and vindictive, or let themselves be completely crushed and poison the lives of their friends, others, on the other hand, reinforce themselves, grow richer and, thanks to their experiences, they can then help those around them with their advice, attitude, radiance and the energies they emanate.
This certainly proves that we are not enslaved by the conditions of life. It is true that we cannot totally ignore or neglect them. But in order to progress, we must never forget that many things in life depend solely on us, on our way of considering them, and that happiness and unhappiness are very relative states.
