When you wish to relax, keep an eye on your hands in particular, because while you may think you are relaxed, your hands often remain tense. Hands, more than any other part of the body, reveal our inner state. Look at how people fidget with their hands when they talk. And even when they are not talking, they fold and unfold their hands, fiddle with objects, scratch themselves, scribble or drum their fingers. Keeping your hands still and relaxed is one of the most difficult things to do. This is why you should observe your hands carefully – if you can relax them too, you will feel a sense of well-being spread to your solar plexus.
